Award in Inspection and TestingDescription
The short, one week course is suitable for electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since training, or who require update training before progressing. Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage SystemsDescription
This qualification covers the knowledge, understanding and some of the skills associated with the design, specification, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical energy storage systems (EESS). It follows the IET Code of Practice for Electrical Energy Storage Systems and industry guidance, together with the requirements of BS 7671. It has a range of relevant outcomes covering statutory legislation applicable to EESS, the principles of batteries and EESS, how to specify and design an EESS, installation, inspection and testing, and handover of an EESS. Installation of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic SystemsDescription
The performance unit will enable you to demonstrate occupational competence. The unit focuses upon the occupational competence required to plan and prepare for, install (including testing and commissioning) and handover of grid connected solar photovoltaic systems with an electrical output of up to five kilowatt peak (kWp) connected to both single and three–phase installations.
