Description

A guided tour of the award-winning Heritage Guides and experience a personal, in-depth historical tour through Bodmin Jail. Designed by Sir John Call and built in 1779, Bodmin Jail was originally built for King George III and is an excellent example of the ingenuity and engineering prowess of Victorian architects.

Date - Wednesday 22nd May 2024

Cost - £6.60 per person (non refundable)

Deadline for payment - Friday 3rd May 2024

Full payment to be made at once. A first come first served basis.

 

Detailed Description

We expect to depart at 12pm to arrive at Bodmin Jail for the 130pm guided tour which will last approximately 2 hours. We expect to arrive back to college for around 5pm.  


Please note that we do have limited availability for the trip and so we would ask for payment to be made as soon as possible to secure your space. We do have a maximum of students able to visit per day and so we will not be able to change your group's visit day for another. Once payment has been made this is non refundable should you choose not to go. In the event that we are unable to operate the trip due to not securing the minimum number of students required, a full refund will be made. A completed consent form is also required to be able to attend the trip. Please return this to your tutor ASAP after payment has been made. 


Please can everyone make sure that they wear and bring suitable clothing and shoes.
