This course is for those who wish to install, service or repair Unvented Hot Water systems. You will need a minimum of 12 months experience in the following sectors; Plumbing, H&V, Gas, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Oil to qualify for entry to the course. Training based on Building Regulations doc G3 will be provided to prepare you for the assessments which are both theoretical and practical based.

This assessment is for those who already hold an UHW certificate that is about to expire. The ‘MOT’ system allows you to undertake your reassessment up to six months before your expiry date whilst keeping your anniversary date. This means your new certificate will be valid for five years from your original expiry date. You are also eligible to undertake the reassessment up to one year after your expiry date. Anything later than this requires you to undertake the Initial UHW assessment.

The assessments will be theoretically based with a number of open book question papers and one closed.
