Music Production Junior Academy

Are you between 14 and 16 and passionate about music production? Whether you're dreaming of a career as a producer or just looking for an exciting after-school activity in Plymouth, the City College Plymouth Music Production Academy is perfect for you.

Join us one evening a week, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, to enhance your beat making skills and creativity. This programme costs £60.

Course Description

Here's what you can expect:

·  Improve your techniques in music production.

·  Explore and express your musical creativity through production.

·  Build beats, twist synths, record your instrument and play with effects creatively.

·  Connect with like-minded young producers and become part of the City College Plymouth community.

Over six weeks, you'll work with our professional music instructors in state-of-the-art facilities. You'll explore various styles of music production, culminating in a special showcase where you'll present your work.

This academy is designed for all skill levels, but we recommend having at least six months of musically related experience to make the most of it.

We provide all necessary equipment and software. However, you are welcome to bring your own laptop or any favourite production tools.
