First Aid

What's it all about?

This intensive course is appropriate for those who have to administer first aid in the workplace. People at work can suffer injuries or fall ill. You will need to make sure they receive immediate attention and that, in serious cases, qualified help is summoned. Through a mixture of background theory and hands on practice you will learn the arrangements you need to do to save lives and prevent minor injuries becoming major ones.

As a First Aid training provider City College Plymouth has demonstrated that we are competent to deliver first aid training and have the necessary quality assurance systems in place.

Please contact us for exact course dates and to discuss your requirements.

I understand that First Aiders in the workplace may have to deal with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures. Such procedures will include kneeling to render resuscitation to a casualty lying on the ground, or trapped in places with restricted access; they may also require strenuous efforts to affect the rescue and appropriate treatment of the casualty.

As far as I am aware, I have no medical problems, physical or mental, which would hinder me coping with such situations, or in the training for such situations.
